Yandin Wind Farm is a RATCH-Australia & Alinta Energy investment managed by Alinta Energy. Once a year we're awarding up to $58,000 in grants to community groups making a positive difference as part of the community fund program within the Dandaragan region.
2024 Community Fund recipients
Our 2024 round of community funding, with a total of $58,000, has been awarded to support six incredible projects. They include:
• Dandaragan Bowling: Men’s Open Fours
• Dandaragan Community Gym: Gym Extension
• Dandaragan Cricket Club: Cricket Pitch Covers
• Dandaragan Tennis Club: Summer Coaching
• Dandaragan Community Recreation Club: Accessibility Project
• Dandaragan Community Resource Centre Inc: The Young and Young at Heart
We’re thrilled to support these initiatives and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have within the local community.
How it works
Once a year applications open for six weeks in September through October and $58,000 in funding will be available each round. Each applicant can apply for up the full $58,000 per funding round.

Whether you’re part of a not for profit charity, sporting club, youth group or arts organisation – we want to hear your story and what you’re doing in the community. If you need some new equipment or you have a special project in mind, our community fund may be able to help.
We’re accepting applications once a year
Community groups are invited to apply for a grant once a year. The current round is now closed and will open in September 2025.
Your community group may be awarded up to $58,000 in the 2024 funding round.
Our panel will review the applications, select the finalists and then decide who will receive a grant for that period. There is a total of $58,000 up for grabs annually.

Entry is available to community groups and organisations within the Dandaragan region. Whether you’re part of a not for profit charity, sporting club, youth group or arts organisation – we want to hear your story and what you’re doing in the community. What does the grant process involve?
We will receive applications when open. Our panel will review all applications and decide which groups will receive the grants. There is a total of $58,000 up for grabs during the application period.
Is there judging criteria?
